Ballet Conditioning

SSD offer Ballet Conditioning as an optional additional training class for students studying Classical Ballet.

Classes run for half an hour and are structured to train our dancers on their technique, with exercises to support the building of strength in the core, upper back, legs and feet. They help to adapt posture and alignment and work the hip flexes to improve turnout and flexibility whilst improving balance and control. 

Ballet Conditioning is paramount to a dancers technical training. Students who wish to attend full time vocational training will need to study these classes in order to develop to the highest standards required.
